This years Bon Jovi opening band contest went rather smoothly rather than last years debacle documented here. I was also rather surprised that our list for the final 4 was accurate. The top 4 bands for the finals came in our top 6 for viewing with Lakshmi winning the contest at a battle of the bands format at Black Bear in Hartford.
Since WTIC isn’t releasing the numbers I’d figure I will post the YouTube views on a daily basis with the number of views, how long the video has been up and the day to day increase. While not scientific it should give us a good idea of which videos are being viewed. For April 19th the order is just what was posted on the WTIC website, subsequent days are ranked in order of total views since the contest started with the first 4 highlited. Remeber at this point it’s popularity contest and you need to get your fans to vote. The view numbers most likely on represent the people who actually don’t know the band and are watching them to make a decision.
