Help LBR Win

OK we’ve actually never been nominated for anything before so if you get a chance please vote for us in the Best of Hartford Advocates Readers Poll for 2012. We are nominated in two categories under Media, The Best Blogger and also the Best Hyper local News. Thanks to the people that nominated us, and all the people that have voted for us!

While it would be great to win there are a few other nominees worth mentioning http://wailingcity.com and http://www.ctindie.com. We are also in stiff competition with some of the bigger names such as Eric Danton from the Hartford Courant’s Sound Check.  It would be nice for one of the smaller online publications to win.

Also Hartford Advocate how about having a category for best local on-line video next year??? Just saying …

Directions on voting:

• Only one vote in all categories per email address, you may go back and log in to the site as many times as you want until you Finalize your Ballot.
•  To select a new section which are listed on the left, you can click on the White lettering in our case this is Media, it’s a bit touchy so you have to hit it dead on. The list of categories on the right side of the page should change.
•  We are under Best Hyperlocal News Site and Best Local Blogger, localbandreview.com should appear in the dropdown box.
• When you are done with the Media Page selecton Submit and Ctinue at the bottom of the page.
• Select other Sections and vote away…
• When you are done select Finalize my ballot.
