Episode #2 stretches out a bit, featuring three tracks and more jamming. We’ll hear the other song from that Viele & Somerville session, and a high-intensity throwdown from the dojo. Here’s the lineup:
- String Band – Podunk Song. Robbie Jam and his associates blend the traditional with their originals. Here’s one of their songs.
- Frank Viele & Rob Somerville – Push and Pull. You never know what’s going to happen when musicians get together in the WPKN studio. When Rob Somerville crashed Frank Viele’s interview with his sax, we got some great music.
- Kung Fu – Ventriloquist. The lethal funk supergroup played a monster show at Toad’s Place for their Holiday Funktacular. Here’s part of the festivities.
Thanks for listening. I’ll have Episode #3 up soon. If you’d like to submit a track for the podcast, you can use submission page on LocalBandReview.com, or send it to my SoundCloud dropbox. As always, remember to go out and support live music!

Loving these podcasts Dave. So professionally produced and sounding. In addition, I love this medium for listening to fresh local music at my leisure. Good luck and keep this great thing going!
Thanks, Jason. I’m having a lot of fun doing it.
David is a great addition to LBR and we are so happy to have him. The podcasts are coming out great and if you haven’t subscribed to them on iTunes you should, that way you see all the extra work he puts into them.
