Working in the Lab Late One Night

Working in the Lab Late One Night

As I sit in the Radio Golden studio cooking up the first couple of podcasts, I want to take a few minutes to welcome you to this adventure. Most of what I have simmering here is harmless. It may melt your face, but fear not; your face always comes back.

I’ve been going through some of the submissions received at LBR HQ, as well as receiving some new tracks on SoundCloud. I also have some goodies in my own archives. The first podcast will be posted soon. What is astounding is that, for every artist I know, there are at least ten I don’t know. Here’s where you come in.

What I’m looking for are your original songs, whether live soundboard quality, or freshly baked in the studio. Live tracks are my favorite, so don’t be shy; drop ‘em on me. (Note: we can’t use cover songs unless they’re in the public domain.) Be sure to include some contact information in case I want to do an interview.

Keep it tuned right here to LBR, and remember to go out and support live music!

David Golden – Radio Golden

David’s urge to do radio started as a kid in New York listening to Mets broadcasts with Bob Murphy, and the big music stations that once dominated the airwaves of the metropolis. Not long after moving to Connecticut, David found WPKN and started living the dream on the area’s premiere freeform radio station. Over the years, David has produced many live music programs, including the Sunday Brunch Concert and Radio Vibes, and interviewed a lot of musicians. He brings his passion for live, local music to Local Band Review with the Radio Golden podcast. David can also be seen occasionally playing piano, accordion & melodica with Cinnamon Sky.
